Samsung Electronics has announced that its 2025 OLED TV lineup will include NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. This addition aims to provide smoother gameplay, reduced latency, and improved responsiveness for gamers.
The integration of NVIDIA G-SYNC allows Samsung's 2025 OLED TVs to synchronize their refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate. This synchronization helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering, enhancing the gaming experience. When combined with Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator technology, which supports refresh rates up to 165Hz, players can expect fluid visuals and clear images during fast-paced scenes.
“With the addition of NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and our most advanced gaming features yet, Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs deliver elite-level performance for even the most competitive players,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Customer Experience Team at Samsung Electronics. “By building on our leadership in display innovation and integrating real-time AI enhancements, we’re redefining what gamers can expect from a TV — on and off the battlefield.”
The new lineup also includes support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to ensure broad compatibility across various GPUs. Other gaming features are Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) to reduce input lag and Samsung Gaming Hub for quick access to console and cloud-based platforms like Xbox and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
Additionally, the 2025 OLED TVs introduce AI Auto Game Mode. This feature analyzes game genres and scene content in real time to automatically optimize picture and sound settings. The Game Bar interface provides quick access to key settings without leaving the game.
Beyond gaming capabilities, Samsung’s OLED TVs offer a premium cinematic experience with features such as AI Upscaling, Glare Free screen technology, and SmartThings integration.
The NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility will first be available on Samsung’s flagship S95F model before being extended to other models in the 2025 lineup.
