The World Bank Group's Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Finance Hub in Malaysia is undertaking a comprehensive childcare survey. This study focuses on TASKA centers and parents with children aged 0-4 years in Klang Valley and Selangor. The objective is to evaluate the current state of childcare in Malaysia, providing essential insights to shape policies for the holistic development of children across the nation.

The study has several key goals: addressing information gaps within the childcare landscape in Klang Valley and Selangor, understanding the needs and challenges faced by the sector, and proposing policies to enhance childcare services. These efforts aim to nurture every child's full potential in Malaysia.

To conduct this study effectively, Ipsos Sdn Bhd has been engaged as a data collection partner. The process involves in-person interviews at selected TASKA centers and residential areas from April to June 2025. All information collected will remain confidential under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
