The U.S. Embassy in Bishkek has announced a solicitation for local companies to provide consecutive translation services for multiple training sessions within the Chui oblast. The embassy is seeking firms that are technically qualified and financially responsible.

To be considered, offerors must meet several criteria. These include the ability to understand and communicate in both written and spoken English, as well as providing onsite personnel proficient in English and Russian. Additionally, businesses must have a permanent address, necessary personnel, equipment, financial resources, and comply with local laws regarding licenses, permits, and insurance. They should also have no adverse criminal record or affiliations contrary to U.S. interests.

The required languages for this service are Russian and English, with interpreters needing familiarity with military, disaster response, and medical terminology. While transportation to training locations will be provided for interpreters, meals will not be included.

Price offers are due by May 26, 2025, at 11:00 local time. Proposals submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. All proposals must be in English and complete to be considered valid. Submissions should be sent electronically to BishkekGSOProcurement@state.gov.

For a quotation to be evaluated, certain documents must accompany it: the SF-1449 form with specific blocks filled out on the first page; Section 1 Pricing completed on the third page; and CVs of suggested interpreters.
