This initiative follows Secretary Rubio's directive and aligns with President Trump's call to prioritize the resettlement of this vulnerable group facing racial discrimination in South Africa.
Tammy Bruce, Department Spokesperson, emphasized that this action sends a "clear message" consistent with the administration’s America First foreign policy agenda. She stated, "America will take action to protect victims of racial discrimination. We stand with these refugees as they build a better future for themselves and their children in the United States."
