UBS AG has announced an expansion of its Asian Investment Conference (AIC) to include a new wealth management-focused event in Singapore. The AIC: Wealth Edition is scheduled for May 22, 2025, and aims to meet strong client demand for global connectivity and insights into the current economic environment. It will cover topics such as wealth trends in Asia Pacific, Singapore’s future outlook, investment opportunities in today's macroeconomic environment, and ASEAN's role as an investment hub.

The AIC is now in its 28th year and is recognized as Asia's leading investment conference. Last year's event set a record with over 3,000 attendees from various sectors. Iqbal Khan, Co-President Global Wealth Management and President of Asia Pacific at UBS AG, remarked on the event's significance: “At UBS, we achieve excellence by blending our rich heritage with global expertise and local insights, enabling us to help our clients realize their financial goals." He added that the decision to expand the conference was driven by client demand for actionable insights.

UBS recently received recognition in the 2025 Extel All-Asia Survey as the No.1 Corporate Access provider in the region. The AIC and Greater China Conference were among the top four best value conferences. Additionally, UBS ranked #1 in Trading & Execution provider and Global Research.

This year's AIC theme is "Unlocking tomorrow: Harnessing resilience, embracing opportunity." The conference will explore adaptation and innovation amid uncertainty. Key discussions will include breakthrough technologies and major investment debates covering macroeconomics, policy, trade, and societal challenges.

The agenda includes various UBS activities such as the APAC Family Office Summit and a Data Intelligence Forum for hedge fund clients. Notable speakers include Dr Raghuram Rajan and Prof Olivier Blanchard discussing global economics; Pascal Lamy on trade tensions; Gillian Tett and Jeffrey Sachs on geopolitics; Peter Diamandis on AI technology; Bill MacCartney from Stanford; and Professor Neil Lawrence from Cambridge.

A networking evening featuring Cirque du Soleil's performance will be part of the event in Hong Kong. Attendees can also participate in research tours across the region to gain direct insights from APAC companies.

UBS manages USD 6.2 trillion of invested assets following its acquisition of Credit Suisse earlier this year. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, UBS operates globally across more than 50 markets.
