UBS Group AG and General Atlantic have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding private credit opportunities. This collaboration between UBS and General Atlantic Credit (GA Credit) seeks to enhance access for investing clients and borrowers to a wider range of direct lending and other credit products.
The partnership builds on a history of cooperation, combining UBS's advisory and investment banking capabilities with General Atlantic's global network and expertise in private credit investing. This collaboration aims to advance the GA Credit platform by providing access to proprietary deal flow and delivering customized solutions across the capital structure. It also marks an important step for UBS's growth ambitions in its Global Banking capital markets platform.
GA Credit will lead the investment activities while leveraging UBS’s origination capabilities. The focus will be on senior secured direct lending financing for companies in North America and Western Europe.
