Banco Santander and Universia have introduced a new initiative aimed at young professionals with a digital background. This program is designed for students and recent graduates who are less than two years into their careers. The first international edition of this initiative will begin in Chile, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, and Uruguay, with plans to expand soon to Argentina, Brazil, Poland, and the UK.

The program offers around 60 positions for final-year students or recent graduates with up to two years of career experience. Participants will work in Banco Santander's global Retail & Commercial Banking division on strategic projects that support the bank's operational and business transformation. Additionally, they will receive specialized training through a three-week bootcamp focused on enhancing digital skills and business acumen.

Banco Santander aims to attract individuals with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, data or AI who have an interest in innovation. Applicants should excel in data analysis, digital tools, teamwork, creativity, and communication. The application deadline is May 30.

Ramón Rodríguez commented on the initiative: "Santander seeks to attract young talented people."

Banco Santander has been a leader in education, employability, and entrepreneurship for nearly 30 years. It has invested over EUR 2.4 billion in these areas and provided scholarships and grants to more than 3.7 million people through partnerships with nearly 1,200 universities worldwide.

Through Universia, Banco Santander offers access to job opportunities and internships for students and young graduates while helping universities connect talent with companies. Universia manages over 150 job portals at universities worldwide and is connected with more than 35,000 registered companies.
