The World Trade Organization (WTO) has opened online registration for its 2025 Public Forum and is inviting proposals for working sessions. The event will focus on how a modernized, digitalized trading system can enhance living standards, create jobs, and support sustainable resource management. Participants will examine both the risks and opportunities associated with emerging digital tools.

Individuals interested in organizing a working session can find details on the application process in an information note provided by the WTO. Proposals must be submitted by June 13, 2025, at 23:59 CET. All Forum sessions are organized by participants.

For those wishing to attend the Public Forum, online registration must be completed by August 22, 2025, at 23:59 CET.

The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest outreach event and serves as a platform for stakeholders worldwide to discuss global trade developments and propose enhancements to the multilateral trading system. The event typically attracts over 2,000 representatives from civil society, academia, business, government, international organizations, and the media.

Questions regarding the forum can be directed to the Public Forum Team at pf25@wto.org.
