The embassies of Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with the Delegation of the European Union, have issued a joint statement condemning recent attacks in Fangak County. These include bombings targeting a hospital operated by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and other civilian sites.
The joint statement aligns with the African Union Commission Chairperson's call for accountability in response to these incidents. The embassies stress that "all parties share responsibility to end the violence in all parts of the country and to protect both civilians and aid workers."
The statement further urges South Sudanese leaders to prioritize their citizens' welfare amidst ongoing conflicts.
