The U.S. Embassy has announced that routine American citizen services will be available in Košice on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The services will be offered from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. American citizens can submit passport applications and applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. Interested individuals are required to make an appointment by responding to the announcement and specifying the service needed by May 20. In return, they will receive the necessary documents and information.
The embassy has informed that all payments for services must be conducted online via pay.gov prior to the appointment. It is essential for applicants to bring both originals and photocopies of documents needed for each service, such as a photocopy of the passport for renewal or the original and photocopy of a birth certificate for children’s passports.
The services will be conducted at the State Scientific Library in Košice, located at Hlavná ul. 10. Those who have questions can send an email to bratislavaACS@state.gov or call 02 5922 3000 on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, excluding holidays.
