U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Herro Mustafa Garg, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat, and Chairman of the General Authority of Free Zones and Investment Hossam Heiba highlighted opportunities for American companies in Egypt's ICT sector. The virtual event focused on presenting new trade and investment prospects for U.S. technology products and solutions in Egypt.

Dr. Amr Talaat expressed eagerness for deeper collaboration with American firms in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data centers, telecommunications, and smart solutions.

Ambassador Mustafa Garg stated, "The United States is committed to supporting American companies that choose to contribute to Egypt’s digital transformation through their expertise and supply of cutting-edge technologies. Strong partnerships between U.S. companies and Egypt create jobs, expand commercial opportunities, and pave the way to increased prosperity for both of our nations."

This gathering was the third Direct Line call organized by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo in partnership with Egypt's Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade. The embassy continues to encourage American businesses to engage in Egypt's economic development.
