Aida Welker will join the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank as of May 1, 2025. She will replace Andreas Ufer, who is retiring after several years of service. In her new position, Welker will oversee areas including Mobility, Infrastructure, Syndication & Treasury, Credit Operations, and KfW IPEX-Bank Asia Ltd.
Welker expresses her enthusiasm for her upcoming role, noting: "I am very much looking forward to my new role and would like to thank Andreas Ufer for his exceptional leadership and dedication during this tenure." Welker has a long history with KfW Group, where she has spent nearly 25 years. Her experience spans acquisition and structuring, credit risk management, and corporate strategy. Before this appointment, she served as the Global Head of Infrastructure at KfW IPEX-Bank.
