Various groups are planning demonstrations in Panama, expected to start on April 28. These protests are announced for locations including Panama Oeste, Chepo, and Panama Central. In Panama City, demonstrations may occur near Transistmica, the University of Panama, Parque Porras, the National Assembly, and Cinta Costera.

The U.S. Embassy in Panama City advises individuals in the area to "exercise caution and flexibility" and provides several guidelines:

- "Be aware of your surroundings."

- "Avoid demonstrations."

- "Monitor local media for updates."

- "Exercise caution when traveling and plan routes accordingly."

The embassy also offers assistance through contact numbers and recommends enrollment in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for receiving timely security updates. More information is available on the embassy's website.
