Daniel Koski, Chargé d'Affaires, praised the local entrepreneurs and officials at a significant event in Sarajevo, marking the advent of Techstars in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Addressing the audience, Koski acknowledged the presence of key figures such as Prime Minister Niksic, Deputy Prime Ministers Mijatovi and Kraljevic, and Techstars representatives Katie and Piotr.

Koski extended his commendations to several local leaders who were instrumental in making the event possible. He named individuals including Bojan Lazić and Harun Mlivo from 38xVentures, Dajana Džindo from Foundation 787, and Senad Šantić from ZenDev, recognizing their roles in propelling this initiative forward. "Your vision, determination, and belief in BiH’s potential have brought this opportunity to fruition. You exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit that is so vital to economic development," said Koski.

The establishment of Techstars in Bosnia and Herzegovina marks a new chapter. "The Techstars model, created and shaped in America, has proven successful around the world, supporting thousands of startups from early concepts to thriving businesses," Koski noted, highlighting the investment potential in the region due to its inherent talent and creativity.

Emphasizing the United States' commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, Koski stated, "A vibrant startup ecosystem—the kind that Techstars can help create—is essential for building a resilient, forward-looking economy." He stressed the mutual benefits for both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States, expressing a commitment to enhancing economic growth through these global partnerships.

Koski concluded his remarks by lauding all those involved in the collaboration and expressed his anticipation for future success stories from this partnership. "I extend my congratulations to everyone who made today possible. I eagerly look forward to learning about the success stories that will emerge from this collaboration," he remarked.
