Guatemala and Peru have reached a mutually agreed solution in an ongoing agricultural dispute, as per a notification outlined in document WT/DS457/19. The resolution comes at a stage in the dispute settlement process where both parties can settle by finding a solution that is mutually acceptable.
This solution must align with the relevant World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements and ensure that no other member's benefits under the agreement are nullified or impaired. According to WTO procedure, parties are obliged to notify the Dispute Settlement Body, as well as relevant councils and committees, of any mutually agreed resolution achieved.
