China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and Syensqo SA signed a Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement in Beijing on April 22, 2025. The two companies aim to foster collaboration in advanced materials and specialty chemicals, marking a significant milestone in their partnership.
The agreement aims to explore business development opportunities and application development in sectors including commercial aerospace, transportation, energy, electronics, and industrial fields. The focus will be on empowering innovation for sustainable solutions and exploring opportunities in supply chain management and sustainability.
The collaboration will concentrate on carbon fiber and composites, specialty polymers, and material solutions. It will also consider the use of circular chemicals and reducing carbon footprint. Business cooperation will be explored in emerging markets such as South America and Asia.
