Fair pay and equal opportunities are essential components of DEG's sustainable human resources policy. This policy has been validated with two certifications received alongside KfW and KfW IPEX-Bank. One certification followed a pay equity analysis conducted in 2024 by MRH Trowe & Lurse GmbH, which showed an adjusted gender pay gap of 2.17% at DEG, significantly below the 5% certification threshold. The second certification was the designation of DEG, KfW, and KfW IPEX-Bank as “Universal Fair Pay Analyst” in the Universal Fair Pay Check by FPI Fair Pay Innovation Lab gGmbH.
“These certifications show that we have put fair and transparent remuneration structures into practice at DEG. We aim to further reduce structural imbalances and provide all employees with equal development opportunities,” said Juliane Killich, Head of Human Resources at DEG, who manages it jointly with Joerg Lorleberg.
The certifications reflect DEG's human resources policy, also focusing on diversity, equal opportunities, and an inclusive work environment. This includes various measures like flexible working time models, work-life balance arrangements, and individual employee development programs.
