The U.S. Consulate General in Almaty has announced an upcoming auction to take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The event will be held at the consulate's main warehouse located at 133A Angarskaya Street. The auction activities are scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM with registration and reviewing, followed by the actual auction from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All sold items need to be removed from the premises by 6:00 PM on the same day.

Among the items available for auction are used household and office furniture, appliances, IT equipment, parts and supplies, and vehicles. Each item is sold "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees.

For participation, an auction registration fee of KZT 50,000 or USD 100 per bidder number is required. This fee can be applied to purchased lots or reimbursed if no purchases are made. Notably, if the purchased lot costs less than the registration fee, the difference will be returned. However, if a bidder refuses to pay for a won lot, the registration fee will not be refunded.

Payment methods are limited to cash transactions only, with acceptable currencies being KZT and USD. Participants are advised that torn and old banknotes will not be accepted.
