INSEAD, known as The Business School for the World, has announced the initiation of its INSEAD Global AI Forum Series 2025. These forums are set to be hosted across key locations, including Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Fontainebleau, and San Francisco.
Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to redefine the limits of human achievement, presenting opportunities and risks. This shift emphasizes the importance of integrating human and machine intelligence for societal advancement.
The newly established Human and Machine Intelligence Institute (HUMII) at INSEAD will examine how these forms of intelligence can work in tandem to enhance societal outcomes. The institute focuses on developing future business leadership skills, researching co-intelligence, and applying knowledge to improve human agency.
Lily Fang, the Dean of Research and Innovation at INSEAD, emphasized the school's unique position to lead discussions on the societal implications of AI. "As a leading global business school, INSEAD is uniquely positioned to lead discussions on the societal implications of human-machine co-intelligence, on AI's impact on people, businesses, and society. While we leverage the huge potential of AI to create value, we must also safeguard the essence of human agency."
The 2025 forums are designed to support HUMII's vision and will gather experts to discuss AI's impact on business, economy, and society. These meetings aim to provide deeper insights into how AI and human cognition can support and enhance each other, aiding leaders in steering responsible, human-centric innovations.
The forums will include discussions on AI's influence on business education, global leadership, innovation, geopolitics, and organizational culture. Some highlighted sessions include:
- From April 23 to May 1 at the INSEAD Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi, discussions will cover topics like the AI revolution in management education and AI startups in MENA.
- On May 30 at the INSEAD Asia Campus in Singapore, topics will include demystifying AI and geopolitics.
- On June 4 at INSEAD Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, discussions will include AI forecasting for business.
The San Francisco forum date remains to be announced, but confirmed speakers across these events include various distinguished leaders and professors from INSEAD and other institutions.
