The US Embassy in Nassau has issued a call for proposals for an anti-climb gate system, inviting qualified suppliers to provide necessary equipment and materials. Interested parties are encouraged to request solicitation documents or additional information via email at sweetingrt@state.gov.
Proposals will be accepted until April 28, 2025, and must be submitted by entities that are both technically competent and financially responsible. Eligible companies must have a permanent business address, telephone listing, and possess all required legal licenses and permits.
Additionally, suppliers must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide an NDAA Certification and a DEI Compliance Certificate. The Embassy stipulates that companies should not have any political or business affiliations that could conflict with U.S. interests.
Suppliers must be willing to accept a US Embassy Purchase Order that does not allow for mobilization or stage payments, with payment terms set to completion and inspection, followed by electronic transfer within 30 days.
US companies interested in operating in The Bahamas are advised to consult the requirements listed at www.bahamas.gov.bs.
