The U.S. Mission in Geneva has announced a need for an A&E study to ensure the Chief of Mission Residence in Mies complies with accessibility standards. The plan involves the modification of a bathroom to meet the requirements for individuals with disabilities.
The estimated cost for the construction adjustments ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 Swiss Francs.
Firms interested in participating must respond by the specified deadline and will undergo evaluation based on several criteria. These include professional qualifications in handling projects valued at a minimum of 500,000 Swiss Francs over the past three years, specialized experience, and proven competence in executing similar tasks.
Additionally, firms must showcase success in quality and compliance with schedules and controls, outlining their internal quality assurance and cost control measures. While not mandatory, prior experience with similar U.S. Government projects will be considered if satisfactory performance is demonstrated.
"The Mission will select for negotiation the licensed firm that demonstrates the best qualifications," states the official announcement. Responses must include descriptive literature about the firm's abilities, a completed Standard Form 330, and examples of previous projects. Resumes for key personnel may also be submitted.
Interested firms should submit their applications no later than noon on April 25, 2025, via email to Genevaprocurement2@state.gov.
