Bank of America has launched the 'Golf with Us' initiative, aiming to foster a new generation of golfers. This program offers youth aged 6-18 a free one-year membership to Youth on Course, provided by Bank of America. Enrollment is open until May 24, 2025, allowing access to numerous courses across 97 markets for $5 or less per round within the Youth on Course network.
David Tyrie, President of Marketing, Digital & Specialized Consumer Client Solutions at Bank of America, highlighted the benefits of sports involvement. “When kids get involved in sports, they learn first-hand about achieving their goals and develop lifelong skills that help them thrive,” he said. The initiative also includes free clinics with professional golfers, athletes, and celebrities planned throughout spring, summer, and fall in selected markets.
Participants receive a handicap index registered with the United States Golf Association’s Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) system, along with continued development and learning opportunities. Families interested in joining can find more information at BofA.com/GolfwithUs.
Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course, emphasized the broader benefits of the program: “Golf has the power to shape young lives in incredible ways - not just through the sport itself, but through the friendships, confidence, and opportunities it creates.” He noted that the partnership with Bank of America is about more than just golf, focusing on opening doors and changing futures.
The strategic partnership between Youth on Course and BofA aims to expand golf access nationwide. BofA is aiding in the expansion of municipal course locations as part of the agreement. Over 2,000 courses are now Youth on Course partners throughout the US.
Bank of America will promote the 'Golf with Us' initiative through commercials starting during the Masters Tournament. As a Champion Partner of the Masters Tournament, BofA continues to host youth golf clinics in Augusta, GA. In 2025, the bank became the presenting partner of the More Than Golf Invitational for female amateur golfers, in association with the ANNIKA Foundation.
Beyond golf, Bank of America maintains partnerships with well-known brands in sports to enhance client relationships and create economic impacts within communities. More details are available at about.bankofamerica.com/en/making-an-impact/sports.
