Barclays has announced Andrew K. Woeber’s appointment as the Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Woeber will report to Cathal Deasy and Taylor Wright, who serve as Global Co-Heads of Investment Banking. Woeber will be based in New York and join the Investment Banking Management Team.

With more than 25 years of experience, Woeber has advised numerous leading global companies on various transactions. Previously, Woeber was a Partner at Centerview, where he led c-suite coverage and strategic transactions for large companies across different sectors. His past roles include leadership positions at Greenhill & Co. and Morgan Stanley. He began his career as a corporate lawyer focusing on M&A at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York. Woeber earned his law degree from Harvard and his economics degree from Stanford.

Woeber has executed M&A and financing transactions with numerous significant global companies, including Amphenol, Berkshire Hathaway, Blackstone, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Comcast, Dolby, KKR, Safeway, Schwab, Sprint, Time Warner, Verizon, Volvo, and Wells Fargo.
