ANZ has joined the One Stop One Story (OSOS) Hub to support customers dealing with family and domestic violence. The OSOS Hub is an initiative of Thriving Communities Australia (TCA), designed to connect frontline workers from essential services, government, and community organisations with victims through a single access point.
“An estimated 21 per cent of Australian adults have experienced violence, emotional or economic abuse by a partner," indicating the need for support systems. As a new member of this initiative, ANZ reiterates its commitment to ensuring fair access to essential services.
ANZ Customer Advocate, Meg Dalling, expressed the bank's dedication to aiding its customers through complex issues, emphasizing the significance of avoiding the distress of repeatedly narrating experiences to various service providers. “Through One Stop One Story, we’ll be able to help through a single access point without additional burden,” she said.
TCA CEO, Ciara Sterling, highlighted the importance of collaboration in dealing with family and domestic violence complexities. Sterling stated: “We are excited for ANZ to join the OSOS partnership. By working together across government, essential services and community organisations we can create safer and easier pathways.”
ANZ also collaborates with Uniting CareRing to provide customers with housing support, social work, and financial counselling, reinforcing its dedication to customer welfare. “We’re here to support and improve our customers’ financial wellbeing,” said Dalling.
