ANZ offers disaster relief for flood-affected regions in Queensland and New South Wales

ANZ has announced the availability of disaster relief support for those affected by flooding in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales. The region has experienced continuous heavy rainfall, and ANZ is committed to assisting the communities in their recovery efforts and enhancing their resilience.

The relief measures include short-term payment relief on home loans, credit cards, personal loans, and some business loans, although interest may still be charged during this period. ANZ is also offering to waive fees for restructuring business loans and accessing term deposits early. Additionally, customers with ANZ Home and Contents Insurance may qualify for emergency funds and temporary accommodation.

ANZ's General Manager of the Australian Branch Network, Cameron Home, stated: "The flooding has already affected homes, businesses, and infrastructure across south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales, with heavy rainfall continuing to pose further risks."

"The safety of our customers and colleagues is our highest priority, and we will continue to monitor the event as it progresses."
