ANZ has announced an agreement on key terms with Australia Post that will allow ANZ customers to use Bank@Post services starting from October 1, 2025. Bank@Post is an Australia Post service enabling customers to conduct banking transactions at over 3,300 Post Offices nationwide. This service includes cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals, and checking account balances.

Katherine Bray, Managing Director of Retail Banking, stated, “We recognise there has been a lot of community discussion about the presence of branches in regional areas and the agreement with Australia Post will ensure further access to face-to-face services for our customers, particularly in these areas."

Bray also expressed satisfaction with the progress of negotiations, saying, “We are pleased negotiations with Australia Post are at an advanced stage. Under the terms, ANZ customers would be able to access Bank@Post services from 1 October 2025."
