The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has announced the return of the Creator’s मेला, expanding this major in-person conference for digital creators with new editions in Itahari on April 5 and Pokhara on April 12. This event aims to extend the reach of resources and opportunities to emerging creators outside of Kathmandu.
Operating under the theme "Build. Brand. Boost.", Creator’s मेला 2025 will bring together local influencers, entrepreneurs, and content creators. It will feature dynamic workshops, interactive panel discussions, and networking sessions. Participants can access tools, mentorship, and AI-powered insights to help transform their creativity into sustainable careers.
U.S. Ambassador Dean R. Thompson stated, "This event is all about empowering content creators — helping them grow, connect, and develop the tools they need to succeed." He emphasized the U.S. Embassy's commitment to organizing the event to utilize digital media's potential in creating opportunities for individuals and communities alike.
Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief at the U.S. Embassy, highlighted the collaboration between the United States and Nepal in the creator economy. He remarked that this partnership reflects a joint belief in storytelling, innovation, and entrepreneurship's transformative power.
The Creator’s मेला 2025 supports creators by connecting them with industry leaders, global platforms, and brand partners, promoting entrepreneurship and job creation, and contributing towards a more inclusive digital economy in Nepal.
