The United States Embassy in Nassau has issued a request for proposals aimed at acquiring hardware tool supplies. The Embassy invites qualified suppliers to participate in this procurement effort, referenced as "Hardware Tool Supplies – PR15063380." Proposals will be accepted until April 16, 2025.

Interested parties are advised to request solicitation documents or seek additional information by contacting the email provided, johnsonsv@state.gov. The Embassy emphasized the necessity for all potential suppliers to be technically competent and financially responsible in executing the work.

Suppliers are expected to have an established business presence, complete with a permanent address and telephone listing, and are required to possess all licenses and permits as stipulated by law. Additionally, registration on the System for Award Management (SAM) is mandatory.

The Embassy also notes that participating companies should provide NDAA Certification and should not have political or business affiliations that are at odds with the interests of the United States. Furthermore, suppliers must be willing to accept the terms of a US Embassy Purchase Order, which excludes mobilization or stage payments and entails full payment within 30 days following completion and electronic transfer of funds upon inspection.

The Embassy encourages US companies to visit www.bahamas.gov.bs to understand the operational requirements in The Bahamas.

"All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered." Additionally, the Embassy states that companies must be "willing to accept a US Embassy Purchase Order that does not allow mobilization or stage payments."
