INSEAD, a prominent global business school, has achieved recognition in the Financial Times Research Ranking. The school has been positioned as the 10th best worldwide and the leading business school outside the United States. This acknowledgment comes as part of a newly developed ranking that evaluates research based on its rigor, relevance, and real-world impact.

The ranking highlights INSEAD's success in various categories, notably securing the second spot in the Case Centre category and showcasing significant faculty productivity. Lily Fang, Dean of Research and Innovation at INSEAD, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, "This ranking acknowledges our commitment to rigorous and relevant research that develops new ideas and brings new knowledge to help tackle the global challenges we currently face. I am particularly proud of the high ranking for our faculty productivity and the recognition of the impact of our case portfolio."

This new ranking is part of the FT Research Insights Report and builds upon existing analyses used in FT Business Education rankings. Unlike traditional assessments, this ranking considers not just the volume of papers published in select academic journals, but also their broader impact. It takes into account how research is disseminated through teaching and engaging with students, business leaders, and policymakers, and whether it addresses pressing societal needs.

INSEAD's impressive performance is evidence of its continuous dedication to pioneering research that offers innovative, applicable insights across various fields. This news follows INSEAD's maintenance of its third-place standing in The Case Centre Impact Index 2024. Additionally, in the Case Centre Awards and Competitions 2024, INSEAD became the first business school to achieve over 100 awards since the competition's initiation in 1991.

In the past academic year, INSEAD faculty published 168 peer-reviewed papers and 73 new cases. This volume places it at the forefront globally for the number of papers published in top management journals, according to the University of Texas Dallas' global ranking.
