INSEAD has introduced a new educational opportunity called the Global Executive MBA Flex (GEMBA Flex) programme. This programme is the latest addition to the institution's Global Executive MBA offerings. It is designed to suit ambitious executives seeking a flexible educational path while maintaining the same standards as the existing GEMBA curriculum. The programme places importance on flexibility in both the mode and location of learning.

The Dean of Degree Programmes at INSEAD, Mark Stabile, expressed the school’s enthusiasm for this new initiative, stating, “We are excited about the launch of the GEMBA Flex programme. Building on two decades of success with our GEMBA programmes, this new offer reflects INSEAD’s commitment to innovation and excellence in business education. The development aligns with our vision of providing rigorous, relevant management education and empowering the next generation of leaders to transform business and society."

The GEMBA Flex programme provides participants with a world-class education, featuring a mix of in-person modules, live virtual classes, and asynchronous online learning. This flexibility is intended to help students balance their studies with other commitments. Participants can opt to adapt their learning journey, choosing between in-person interaction on campus or remote online modules. The programme aims to foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment by attracting participants from various nationalities and backgrounds.

Moreover, those enrolled in GEMBA Flex will have access to career support and networking opportunities similar to those available in the traditional GEMBA track. The programme emphasizes sustainability and aims to reduce travel-related carbon emissions, thereby cutting travel costs for participants.

The first cohort of this new educational venture will begin in May 2026.
