Consular officers from the U.S. Embassy in Lima are scheduled to visit the U.S. Consular Agency in Cusco on April 10-11 and May 20-21, 2025. During this visit, they will provide expanded services, which include passport applications, registering births abroad to U.S. citizen parents, and notarial services.
Appointments for these services are limited and will be offered to those who submit complete requests via email as specified. Passport services will only be available for the DS-11 application form, applicable for both adults and minors. The embassy emphasizes that adults eligible for mail-in renewal should continue using mail-in options or arrange appointments on other dates.
To arrange a passport appointment, individuals should email CuscoACS@state.gov with the subject line “Passport Application CUSCO” along with necessary documents such as the DS-11 form and proof of U.S. citizenship.
For the Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), appointments will be available to document the U.S. citizenship of children born abroad to U.S. citizen parents. The process includes creating a MyTravelGov eCRBA account, submitting an application online, and payment on Pay.gov. Following this, applicants are required to email CuscoACS@state.gov with “eCRBA Appointment Request CUSCO” in the subject line, including their case number.
Once the case number email is received, it will be reviewed, and an appointment for an interview with a Consular Officer in Cusco will be scheduled. Presence of the parents and the children is mandatory during the interview.
Applicants seeking notarial services are directed to visit the embassy’s Notarial Services page for a list of available services. To request a notarial appointment, they must send an email to CuscoACS@state.gov with the subject line “Notarial appointment CUSCO” and their name.
