On March 27, 2025, Siemens AG announced that Dagmar Mundani will lead its Mergers & Acquisitions division. Mundani, who currently serves as General Counsel for Siemens Healthineers AG, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her by the Managing Boards of both Siemens AG and Siemens Healthineers AG. "I’m looking forward to my new responsibilities and wish to thank the Managing Board of Siemens AG and the Managing Board of Siemens Healthineers AG for the trust they’ve placed in me," Mundani stated.

Mundani has been at Siemens Healthineers, managing a legal team of around 500 employees across 41 countries. She has played a significant role in notable projects like the acquisition of Varian Medical Systems, Inc. and two capital increases totaling €5 billion. Mundani's previous experience with Siemens AG spans more than two decades, including leadership roles in major mergers and acquisitions such as the spin-off of Osram and acquiring Mentor Graphics and Dresser-Rand.

She will take over from Karl-Heinz Seibert, who made significant contributions to Siemens' corporate development. "We’d like to thank Karl-Heinz Seibert for his many years of service and his outstanding commitment to Siemens," Siemens management noted. Seibert has been influential in shaping Siemens’ M&A strategies since 2007, playing key roles in the public listings of Siemens Healthineers AG and Siemens Energy AG and the divestment of portfolio companies including the recent sale of the Innomotics unit.

Seibert's career at Siemens began in 1986, and he has held various leadership roles in the company's Data Systems unit and the Mergers, Acquisitions & Post Closing Management function.
