Samsung Electronics has launched its latest washing and drying appliances under the Bespoke AI Laundry with AI Home line. These appliances are equipped with various features aimed at enhancing the laundry experience. The Bespoke washers and dryers come in multiple sizes and heating options, such as vent and heat pump models, to cater to diverse customer needs globally.
The new appliances are part of Samsung's vision of "Screens Everywhere," highlighted at CES 2025, and are equipped with 7-inch AI Home screens. These screens provide users with intuitive controls, displaying essential laundry information like wash cycles and detergent levels. The AI Home acts as a central control hub, managing connected appliances and providing entertainment options such as online videos or music.
"Last year’s launch of the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo marked the beginning of integrating screens into our products, providing users access to essential information about laundry and home control,” said Jeong Seung Moon, EVP, and Head of the R&D Team for Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “This year, we are excited to unveil the complete Bespoke AI Laundry lineup, which caters to a wider range of customer needs and enables them to take advantage of these convenient screens.”
The Bespoke AI washers and dryers feature advanced AI algorithms and sensors, which optimize washing and drying performance while improving energy efficiency. The AI Wash+ and AI Dry+ features include enhanced fabric detection capabilities, enabling more efficient care for a variety of fabrics. Samsung is also introducing a large 27-inch capacity washer-dryer set. The set employs sleek Bespoke design and can handle large items such as king-size comforters.
The washer’s upgraded AI Wash+ can detect outdoor fabrics and denim, adjusting detergent levels and wash settings accordingly. Features such as Auto Open Door and Speed Shot technology allow for quicker wash cycles. The dryer is available in vent and heat pump models, which meet different regional needs by offering tailored drying options that optimize for fabric type, temperature, weight, and moisture content.
Additionally, Samsung is launching a compact washer-dryer combo model, targeting users in regions like South East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and China. This model combines the functionality of a washer and dryer in a single device, saving space.
In Europe, a small capacity 24-inch washer and dryer set will be available later this year. These models focus on energy efficiency, consuming significantly less energy compared to the minimum efficiency requirements for a Class A rating. They feature the AI Home interface and other intelligent features, offering thorough cleaning while enhancing user convenience.
With these introductions, Samsung continues its trajectory of innovation, focusing on intelligent, efficient appliances that streamline household tasks.
