Ambassador Robin Dunnigan recently addressed the media at a SelectUSA event, discussing the upcoming Select USA Investment Summit scheduled for May in Washington D.C. She highlighted the significance of this summit as a premier event organized by the United States government to familiarize international companies with the U.S. market. Ambassador Dunnigan emphasized its importance for Georgian businesses seeking to enhance economic ties with the United States.

“One of my top priorities as ambassador here has been to deepen the economic relationship between Georgia and the United States, because it’s a win-win – it’s good for Americans and it’s good for Georgians,” she stated.

Reflecting on past experiences, Ambassador Dunnigan mentioned that last year she accompanied 40 Georgian business representatives to the summit, which was deemed highly successful. This year, there is an expectation of increased participation from Georgian businesspeople. “We will be going together—I will go with them in May—and I think it is a really helpful way to learn about the U.S. market,” she added.
