The United States and Ukraine have reached several agreements following discussions held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from March 23 to 25, 2025. The two countries committed to ensuring safe navigation in the Black Sea, eliminating the use of force, and preventing the use of commercial vessels for military purposes.

Both nations agreed that the United States remains dedicated to facilitating the exchange of prisoners of war, releasing civilian detainees, and returning forcibly transferred Ukrainian children. Additionally, measures will be developed to implement an agreement between President Trump and President Zelenskyy to ban strikes against energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine.

The involvement of third countries is welcomed by both parties as they aim to support the implementation of these energy and maritime agreements. The goal is to achieve a durable and lasting peace.

President Donald J. Trump's call for an end to killings on both sides of the Russia-Ukraine conflict was reiterated by the United States as a necessary step toward enduring peace. The U.S. will continue facilitating negotiations between both sides in line with agreements made during the discussions in Riyadh.

Gratitude was expressed by the United States towards Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his leadership and hospitality in hosting these important talks in Saudi Arabia.
