BMO has announced the appointment of Halé Behzadi as Vice Chair for California at BMO U.S. This new position is part of BMO's strategy to enhance its growth in California. Behzadi will work from Los Angeles and report to Darrel Hackett, CEO of BMO U.S.

The role emphasizes BMO's dedication to its clients and communities in California. It also strengthens the leadership team in the state, including Tony Sciarrino, Head of U.S. Commercial Bank, and Michele Havens, Head of U.S. Private Wealth.

"BMO has been doing business in California for more than 160 years and we remain deeply committed to growing our presence," Hackett stated. He noted that Behzadi's experience would support BMO's growth strategy in California.

Behzadi brings four decades of experience in financial services. She previously led Citi Private Bank North America as CEO, where she achieved significant growth.

"BMO is making bold moves in California and I'm excited to help shape the next chapter of its growth," Behzadi commented on her new role.
