Y. Robert Ewing Deputy Chief of Mission | U.S. Embassy in The Philippines

The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has announced that it will be closed on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. This closure is due to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Proclamation No. 839, which declares April 1 a regular holiday throughout the country for Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan).

All appointments scheduled at the U.S. Embassy on this date are canceled and will need to be rescheduled. This includes visa interviews, photo and fingerprint collection at the Visa Application Center (VAC), American Citizens Services (ACS), and other services.

U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance can contact the embassy operator at (02) 5301-2000 and request to speak with the duty officer.

Those with confirmed appointments for April 1 should check their registered email accounts for new scheduling instructions. For further inquiries or concerns about rescheduling, individuals may visit https://ph.usembassy.gov/consular/.
