The U.S. Embassy is conducting an online auction to sell surplus movable property, including new auto spare parts. The auction will take place from March 21 to March 28, 2025. Interested buyers can participate by submitting bids for the items listed.

All items are sold "as is" without guarantees or warranties, and bidders agree to purchase on a nonreturnable basis. Each item has specific maximum bid limits, which can only be increased using the local currency. Bidders are advised to monitor their bids closely.

Winners will receive an email with a link to the auction application, where they can review the items after logging in successfully.

To register, bidders must be at least 18 years old and use the internet site. They must register using the online form and follow the rules of the Online Auction. The Hanoi Online Auction can be accessed via a provided link or by scanning a QR code.

For inquiries, contact HanoiGSOAuction@state.gov.

By participating in the auction, bidders acknowledge purchasing items on a nonreturnable basis without refunds or warranties. Bidders are responsible for any charges such as taxes or customs duties. Winners who refuse to pay within three working days will not be allowed in future auctions. A receipt will be issued after payment confirmation by the Embassy Cashier.

The U.S. Embassy reserves the right to reject any bid deemed not commensurate with property value and may re-offer property in case of disputes over bid amounts or item quantities.

Payment must be made via bank transfer to the Embassy's account at Citibank Hanoi with specific details included in the description field.

To pick up items, winners must present an original receipt of bank money transfer or a printed version from Internet banking showing all required details. Items not picked up during scheduled times will be disposed of unless special arrangements are made with the auction manager.

The schedule is as follows:

- March 21-28: The online auction is active for registered bidders.

- March 31: Emails sent to winners for payment instructions.

- April 1-3: Receipts issued post-payment confirmation; winners present receipts for item collection.

- April 2-4: Winners collect goods at Construction Join Stock Company #6 Thang Long location in Hanoi City or contact Mr. Dung at 090 346 1944 for assistance.

"All decisions regarding the auction will be made by the Embassy," and "all decisions are considered final." Mission personnel involved in selling U.S. Government property cannot bid per regulations.
