The U.S. Department of State has released the 2020 Trafficking in Persons Report, categorizing Guatemala as a Tier 2 country. This designation indicates that while the government is making efforts to comply with minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking, it has not fully met them.

A separate report, the 2020 International Religious Freedom Report, was also made public. Additionally, reports on international child labor and forced labor were included in this year's releases.

These documents aim to provide insights into ongoing global issues related to human trafficking, religious freedom, and labor rights.
