The Trump Administration has taken a significant step in its efforts to enhance national security by invoking the Alien Enemies Act. This move, directed by President Trump, aims to remove hundreds of members from the Tren de Aragua (TdA), a foreign terrorist organization that has posed threats to the United States through irregular warfare and acts of terror.

According to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, "Hundreds of violent criminals were sent out of our country. This crucial step would have never happened under any other U.S. president." He emphasized that this action aligns with President Trump's commitments to the American public.

Secretary Rubio also acknowledged the cooperation of El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele in this initiative. "I want to express my sincere gratitude to President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador for playing a pivotal role in this transfer," he stated. President Bukele has agreed to imprison these individuals and has requested the return of two top leaders and 21 wanted members of MS-13 for prosecution in El Salvador. Rubio praised Bukele as "not only the strongest security leader in our region, he’s also a great friend of the United States."

Rubio concluded by reaffirming his dedication to advancing America's foreign policy priorities under President Trump's leadership.
