Regarding Middle East stability, the G7 called for hostages held by Hamas in Gaza to be released and stressed the need for humanitarian aid access. They supported Israel's right to self-defense under international law while condemning Hamas' actions.
The G7 expressed support for Syria and Lebanon's political futures while condemning violence in Syria. They called on Iran to change its approach towards regional stability.
In the Indo-Pacific region, they emphasized maintaining peace based on sovereignty and human rights. Concerns were raised about China's military activities in disputed areas like the South China Sea.
They denounced North Korea's nuclear ambitions and called for an end to Myanmar's military repression. The ministers also addressed violence in Haiti and Venezuela’s political situation.
Finally, they condemned ongoing conflicts in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), urging protection of civilians and peaceful resolutions.
