Every day, women contribute significantly to their families, communities, and the nation. Women's History Month is a time to recognize these contributions. President Donald J. Trump has issued a proclamation honoring American women from all backgrounds for their roles in the nation's prosperity and productivity.
President Trump expressed pride in the female leaders within his administration, highlighting their expertise across various fields such as business, policy, national security, and public service. He stated that these women are working alongside him to honor historical achievements by women.
The President emphasized that his administration will not support ideologies he perceives as harmful to women's spaces or family values. Instead, he pledged to uphold American principles of family, truth, well-being, and freedom.
Trump mentioned fulfilling a promise by signing an Executive Order recognizing biological distinctions between men and women. Consequently, government forms will no longer feature an "X" gender marker. Passports will reflect an individual's biological sex at birth.
Another Executive Order aims to protect women's sports by ensuring fair competition among female athletes. The Department of Education and other agencies have been directed to enforce Title IX action against non-compliant schools and states. Following these directives, major athletic associations have adjusted policies accordingly.
In addition to gender-related policies, Trump outlined efforts in securing borders, deporting illegal criminal aliens, economic rebuilding, school choice advocacy, health improvements, and access enhancements for in vitro fertilization.
Acknowledging the impact of America's daughters on future generations' dreams and character development was also part of Trump's message. Their contributions are recognized as essential components of America's excellence.
President Trump concluded with a call for all Americans to celebrate exceptional women during March 2025 as Women's History Month.
"I call on all Americans to celebrate the exceptional women in their lives and around our country," said Trump.
The proclamation was signed on March 6th in Washington D.C., marking this month as a period dedicated to acknowledging women's vital roles throughout history.
