Thousands are expected to gather across Slovakia on March 7, organized by the group "Peace for Ukraine." The main event will take place at Freedom Square in Bratislava at 5:00 PM. Additional demonstrations are planned in multiple cities throughout the country, with counter-demonstrations being a possibility.
The events will occur in various locations including Bánovce nad Bebravou, Čadca, Lučenec, Martin, Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Nové Zámky, Piešťany, Senica, Stropkov, Svidník, Veľký Krtíš and Žilina starting at 5:00 PM. Demonstrations in Vranov nad Topľou will start at 5:30 PM. At 6:00 PM gatherings will commence in Banská Bystrica, Banská Štiavnica, Bardejov, Dunajská Streda and several other cities.
U.S. citizens are advised to avoid these demonstrations if possible and remain cautious of their surroundings. They should stay informed through local media updates and be aware of any spontaneous counter-protests. In case of violence or altercations during these events, individuals should immediately relocate to a safe area such as near a police officer or a known public space.
