Karen B. Sullivan, Deputy Chief of Mission | U.S. Embassy in Barbados/Grenada

A U.S. Consular Officer will be visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on March 11 and 12, 2025, to handle applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. The officer's visit is strictly by appointment, with no services related to visas being offered during this time.

The appointments will take place at the Blue Lagoon Hotel and Marina in Ratho Mill, St. Vincent, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on both days. Those wishing to schedule an appointment can do so via the embassy's website at https://bb.usembassy.gov/consular-outreach-visits-for-u-s-citizen-services.

Applicants are required to bring several documents including a completed passport application form from http://travel.state.gov, two passport-size photos without eyeglasses, original proof of U.S. citizenship, a social security card, a prepaid air waybill for returning the new passport, printed proof of online payment, as well as originals and photocopies of all documents.

For children under 16 years old applying for passports, additional documentation is needed such as the child's birth certificate and identification for both parents. If both parents cannot appear in person with the child, a notarized Form DS-3053 must be provided.

Payments must be made online prior to the appointment; bank drafts or other forms of payment will not be accepted onsite. Applicants should print their payment confirmation email and bring it along with them.

Specific fees apply depending on the service requested: US$135 for a child's passport (under age 16), US$165 for a first adult passport (age 16+), US$100 for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, and US$50 per signature for notarials.

Individuals renewing a 10-year passport issued less than 15 years ago can apply by mail directly to the Embassy at a fee of US$130 if they have their expired passport available. Otherwise, they must appear in person for an interview with the consular officer at a cost of US$165.
