The United States Embassy in Budapest is seeking a contractor to supply fuel for its fleet of 44 vehicles. The contract will begin on April 1, 2025, and conclude on March 31, 2026, with the possibility of two additional option years.

Contractors must have at least two gas stations operating around the clock within three kilometers of Budapest's V district. Additionally, there should be at least one station on each highway across Hungary. A PIN-protected fuel charge credit card control system is also required.

Interested firms will receive a solicitation package by email on March 13, 2025. To be eligible for the contract award, contractors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at https://www.sam.gov as per FAR provision 5.207.

"The U.S. Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror," according to the announcement. The government may decide based on initial offers without further discussion. The contract will be firm-fixed-price with Economic Price Adjustment.
