Societe Generale has announced the appointment of Lubomira Rochet as Executive Vice President, overseeing Retail Banking activities in France, Private Banking and Insurance, and the Group's Chief Operating Office. Rochet will assume her new role in April 2025 and will also join the Group Executive Committee.
Rochet's responsibilities include assisting Slawomir Krupa, Societe Generale's Chief Executive Officer, with oversight of Retail Banking activities in France, including SG retail network and BoursoBank, as well as Private Banking and Insurance. Her role also extends to managing the Group's Chief Operating Office functions such as technology, procurement, and real estate.
Lubomira Rochet brings extensive experience in business transformation and digital businesses with a focus on customer relations. She has held significant roles globally and is recognized for her strategic vision and leadership skills. These attributes are expected to contribute to the development and transformation of Societe Generale’s retail activities in France by enhancing customer experience, business growth, and operational efficiency.

Rochet has a strong background in technology, digital, and retail sectors. She was responsible for strategy at Sogeti (Capgemini) from 2003 to 2007 before leading innovation at Microsoft France from 2008 to 2010. In 2010 she joined Valtech as Managing Director until 2012. From 2014 to 2021 she served as Chief Digital Officer at L'Oréal. Since 2021 she has been a Partner at JAB Holding Company LLC. Additionally, Rochet served on Societe Generale’s Board of Directors from 2017 to 2024.
