Barclays UK has announced the appointment of Jatin Patel to its Executive team. Effective immediately, Patel will oversee Barclays' operations in mortgages, savings, and insurance.
With over two decades of experience in retail financial services, Patel has held executive positions at organizations such as TSB Bank and Lloyds. His most recent role was Chief Commercial, Digital and Marketing Officer at Hastings Group, where he managed its global retail business.

Patel succeeds Mark Arnold, who is retiring after two years with Barclays UK and seven years as CEO of Kensington Mortgages. Arnold's leadership saw improved customer satisfaction and an increase in mortgage applications.
Allison Buckley, formerly Operations Director at Kensington Mortgages, has been appointed CEO of Kensington and will report to Patel.
This appointment aligns with Barclays' strategy to meet its financial commitments within a three-year plan.
