BMO, in collaboration with Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Angel City Football Club (ACFC), has launched two new fan cards: the BMO LAFC Debit Mastercard and the BMO Angel City FC Debit Mastercard. These cards are designed to enhance the experience for fans of both teams by offering exclusive game day offers and experiences.
The launch coincides with the start of the new seasons for Major League Soccer (MLS) and the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The fan cards, available with any BMO personal checking account, provide benefits such as discounts on team apparel and gear, as well as other perks throughout the season. To promote these cards, BMO is collaborating with LAFC's Denis Bouanga and ACFC's Madison Hammond in a series of commercials.
Sandy Dunleavy, Regional President of Southern California at BMO, stated that soccer brings joy to fans whether they are playing or supporting their favorite clubs. The fan cards are seen as a way for supporters in Los Angeles to connect more closely with their teams while also making financial progress.

Julie Uhrman, Co-Founder and President of ACFC, highlighted BMO's commitment since becoming a Founding Partner in 2023. She noted that BMO's fan cards have successfully connected NBA and NHL fans to their teams and now aim to celebrate Angel City fandom further.
The cardholders will enjoy various benefits such as a 10% discount on team gear at LAFC HQ and Angel City FC HQ when using their fan card. They can also attend exclusive events like BMO Customer Appreciation Nights during games.
