The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has announced the appointment of 12 new members to its Taskforce on Legal, Regulatory and Supervisory matters. This follows a public call for nominations targeting senior private-sector professionals with substantial experience and direct responsibilities in areas such as compliance, legal issues, cross-border operations, or risk management related to cross-border payments.

The selection process aimed at ensuring a diverse membership from various geographic regions and business sectors. The FSB LRS Taskforce will continue its collaboration with the Bank for International Settlements’ Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) Taskforce on Cross-border Payments Interoperability and Extension.

The composition of the LRS Taskforce is updated every two years to maintain its effectiveness and relevance.
