ING continues progress in €2 billion share buyback plan

ING has provided an update on its €2.0 billion share buyback programme, initially announced on October 31, 2024. The company disclosed that it repurchased 3,155,991 shares during the week of February 10 to February 14, 2025.

The shares were acquired at an average price of €16.12 each, totaling €50,886,112.91. ING's programme aims to reduce its share capital. As part of this initiative, a total of 78,174,008 ordinary shares have been bought back so far at an average price of €15.23 per share. This amounts to a total expenditure of €1,190,923,696.31.

According to ING's statement: "To date approximately 59.55% of the maximum total value of the share buyback programme has been completed."
